Report of Gender Sensitization Activity conducted on the occasion of Founder’s Day

To mark the auspicious occasion of Founder’s Day, the School of Physiotherapy conducted a poster competition on the theme “Gender equality”.
The objective of the event was to create an awareness among the young students and staff about gender equality and lay the foundation of an accepting community.
The students and staff enthusiastically participated in the event. There were 8 groups students and 2 participants from the staff. Thoughts on gender equality was beautifully depicted through the colourful artworks.
The event was judged by Dr. Twinkle Dabholkar, Professor-MSK department and Dr. Amruta Nerurkar, Associate Professor- Neuro Department.
The 1st Prize– Druti Davey, DhaminiParasuram, ShardulAkhave, Ashwini Nathani (Interns Batch)
The 2nd Prize – Benita Benny, Anushka Kulkarni, Dishi Surya (4th BPT)
The 3rd Prize – Sanjana Datar, Shweta Mestry, Shivani Shingala(MPT-2)
Anushka Krishnan, Larissa D’souza and Shivangi Jalan (4th BPT) were tied in the third position.
