The research in D.Y.Patil School of Physiotherapy is carried out by undergraduates, postgraduates, Ph.D. scholars and faculty. The faculty and students are sensitized regularly by publication oversight committee to publish in high impact factor journals and publish in journals indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed Index & UGC list.

All faculty and students are made aware of predatory journals hence not fall prey to them and publish in the same. The Ph. D scholars six monthly progress is regularly undertaken to track progress and milestones achieved by the scholars. The faculty of SOP have published in various journals indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed. Few staff have published books and book chapters in publishing agencies like Jaypee and Springer.
