A Blood Donation Camp was organized on Saturday 18th, December 2021 at the School of Hospitality and Tourism Studies of DY Patil Deemed to be University, Nerul, Navi Mumbai, in collaboration with D Y Patil Blood Bank and Chemist Blood bank, Navi Mumbai.
It began at 9.00 am with all the protocols and safety measures of the Covid awareness program and prior consent was taken from the donors. Dr. Vandana Mishra, pro-Vice-Chancellor flagged off the drive by donating and setting up an example followed by Principal Madam Pallavi Chaudhary which created an enthusiasm amongst the faculties and staff of the institution thereby boosting the drive to a continuous flow of donors who donated blood and contributed to a noble cause. Such programs are a good initiative to pay back what society gives us and D.Y. Patil University has always been at the forefront when it comes to corporate social activity.
