The School of Hospitality and Tourism Studies D Y Patil University has constituted an 'anti-ragging squad' comprising of faculty members and selected non-teaching staff who are responsible for discipline and compliance.
It is the responsibilities of Ragging incidences reported if any, will be investigated and strict disciplinary action will be taken. The School of Hospitality and Tourism Studies D Y Patil University Anti Ragging committee is committed to zero tolerance for ragging. As per the directions of the Honorable Supreme Court of India, the University Grants Commission has enforced a regulation to curb the menace of ragging in higher educational institutions u/s 26(1) of UGC Act,1956.
The School of Hospitality and Tourism Studies had displayed contact number of the squad members in campus so that students can approach to Anti Ragging Squad any times School of Hospitality and Tourism Studies had made it mandatory for all the students and parents to submit Anti Ragging Affidavit on Bond Papers.
