CME on Multidisciplinary Approach on Rheumatoid Arthritis
The School of Physiotherapy, D. Y. Patil University, Navi Mumbai under the guidance of Dr. Twinkle Dabholkar, HOD, Department of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, organised a CME on "Multidisciplinary approach to Rheumatoid Arthritis" on the 28th October 2021 from 2-4 pm.

2. Dr. Bindya Sharma, Assistant Professor, School of Physiotherapy, D. Y. Patil University, Navi Mumbai.
3. Dr. Lukesh Kumar Bhuyar (MPO), Prosthetist and Orthotist, AIIPMR, Mumbai
Participants:
The event was attended by teachers and students (4th BPT, Interns and MPT)
Objective of the event:
To update the knowledge of all participants about the current practices in the various disciples involved in the management of Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Activities done:
The event started with introduction of the event by Dr. Twinkle Dabholkar followed by a talk by Dr. Manohar Joshi on the medical management of RA. Next, Dr. Bindya Sharma delivered a talk on ‘Evidence-based Physiotherapy Management’.Dr. Lukesh Kumar shared his knowledge on orthotic management of deformities seen in rheumatoid arthritis.
Outcomes:
The participants were greatly benefitted from the sessions and updated their knowledge about the role of multidisciplinary approach in treatment of RA.
