Guidance for pursuing higher education: Master of Science in Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation at University of Galway.
The Training and Placement Cell of School of Physiotherapy in collaboration with Vision International organised a talk on “Masters of Science in Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation ” by the Senior Regional Manager- South Asia at University of Galway- Anju Singh and Course Coordinator at the department of Physiology University of Galway - Dr.Ananya Gupta. The speakers gave a brief and elucidate explanation of the course credentials. The overview elaborated the importance of the course and the benefits of taking up the course. Dr.Ananya Gupta provided students with the semester wise module distribution and a brief on the topics covered in those modules. Anju Singh ma’am also educated students on the eligibility criteria, employment and career options in Ireland.An idea about professional accreditation was also provided which included accreditations from American College Of Sports Medicine and the European Standards. The session came to an end with a Student from Mumbai giving a live testimony about her experience in the campus during the course as well as after graduating from the university as a practising physiotherapist in Ireland. She also added upon the accommodation options available in and around university. They ended the session clarifying the doubts of the students and provided their contact details for any assistance required by the students in the future.
