Founder’s Day Celebration
DY Patil Deemed to be University School of Pharmacy, Navi Mumbai (DYPUSOP), celebrated Founder’s Day on account of Dr. D Y Patil sir’s birthday on 22nd September 2021. Total 76 students of S Y B Pharm and S Y D Pharm and 27 staff members attended the celebration. Shri. Sanjeev Datar, treasurer of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Kulaba district, Maharashtra was the guest of the program. The event was hosted by Ms. Tushara Sattur (S Y B Pharm). In the beginning, students presented a short video on the journey of our beloved Padmashree Dr. D Y Patil Sir, which was prepared by Mr. Yash Kamble and Mr. Harsh Yadav.
The celebration proceeded with three poem recitations by our Literature club students. Ms. Vaishnavi Dabhadkar (T Y B Pharm) presented on the topic “Leader”, Ms. Komal Gupta (T Y B Pharm) presented on the topic “Mukam”, Ms. Komal Kamthe (S Y B Pharm) presented on the topic “Jeevan”. After that to appreciate the student’s efforts, winners of the “National level E-poster Presentation competition” were held on the topic “Artificial Intelligence in healthcare” on 17th Sep 2021 – 22nd Oct 2021, a prize distribution ceremony was held. In which winners from the Undergraduate and Diploma category were,
1. 3rd prize was won by Ms. Vaishnavi Dabhadkar, from D Y Patil University School of Pharmacy, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. She was awarded a cash prize of ₹1000 and a certificate.
2. 2nd prize was won by Mr. Rujvi Ganesh Sabnis, from DY University School of dentistry, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. He was awarded a cash prize of ₹2000 and a certificate.
3. 1st prize won by Ms. Sunita Rajendra Khadse, from Kasturi Shikshan Sanstha College of Pharmacy, Shikrapur, Pune, Maharashtra. She was awarded a cash prize of ₹3000 and a certificate.
The winners of M. Pharm, Ph.D., and faculty category were
1. 3rd prize was won by Mr. Abhishek Gopal Harne, from AISSMS College of Pharmacy, Pune, Maharashtra. He was awarded a cash prize of ₹1000 and a certificate.
2. 2nd prize was won by Ms. Aditi Arun Mhatre, from Saraswathi Vidyabhavans College of Pharmacy, Dombivali, Maharashtra. She was awarded a cash prize of ₹2000 and a certificate.
3. 1st prize won by Ms. Turabali Aminali Bana, from Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Pharmacy, Vile Parle (west), Mumbai, Maharashtra. He was awarded a cash prize of ₹3000 and a certificate.
