Prevention and prohibition of Ragging in the Institutions, D. Y. Patil School of Nursing under D. Y. Patil Deemed to be Universities.

Mission
Ragging is totally prohibited in D. Y. Patil School of Nursing, inside and/or outside the campus and anyone found guilty of ragging and/or abetting ragging whether actively or passively, or being a part of the conspiracy to promote ragging, is liable to be punished in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009 as well as under the provisions of any penal law for the time being in force.

Goals
D. Y. Patil School of Nursinghas zero tolerance toward ragging
1. Creating a ragging-free atmosphere in and outside the campus.
2. Creating awareness among students regarding acts and punitive measures pertaining to ragging activities.
3. Creating a cordial relation among students for fulfilling the mission and objectives of the organization.

Objevtives
1.To uphold and comply with the directives of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India and be vigilant on any act amounting to ragging and due sequelae.
2. To publicize widely students among the prevalent directives and the actions that could be initiated against those indulging in ragging.
3. To consider the complaints received from the students and conduct due fact-finding and submit an unbiased report to the Anti- Ragging Committee, with punitive measures recommended for the offenders, as deemed appropriate.
4. To oversee the procedure of obtaining an undertaking from the students, in accordance with the provisions and stipulated guidelines
