Notice for BAMS Batch Year 2020-21
This is to inform all First Year BAMS students Admitted in the academic Year 2020-21 that, college is commencing from 8th March 2021 at 10.30 am with orientation program Transitional Curriculum Ayurveda at seminar Hall, 2nd floor/Virtual Classroom, 1st floor. The orientation program will be conducted from 8th March to 26th March 2021. (Scheduled Attached)

We wholeheartedly welcome you to the School of Ayurveda DY Patil Deemed to be University, Nerul, Navi Mumbai. With the
‘Transitional Curriculum of Ayurveda’ program, you all will start a new and crucial chapter in your lives. We wish you all
the very best for your journey ahead. We assure you that, we will always be there with you in all situations.
In this testing COVID-19 times, it is possible that you might have some fear or apprehensions about going to college. But we assure that we have all the facilities required for monitoring, hygiene and social distancing, and implementing capacity controls.
Also, you are going to start your career as a medical professional. Our profession demands that we find the way in such challenging conditions. It is a learning experience for all of us. We will face whatever challenges appear together and come out as a winning team.
Please note that all safety measures for school premises are taken as per guidelines of the Government, UGC & University. All classrooms, washrooms, furniture, etc. are sanitized on regular basis. Sanitizer, Mask, etc. are made available here. However, it is advised that you should carry and use your personal ones. All the safety norms must be followed by you during traveling or talking to someone and maintain personal &social hygiene.
When you enter the school premises, thermal checking and verification will be done at the entrance following all safety norms. After that, you will have to move to the Virtual Classroom on the first floor / Seminar Hall, 2nd floor. Our staff will be there to oversee that you reach the classroom following all safety norms.
Please note that the following guidelines must be followed by everyone for their own safety.
1) Wear face mask properly
2) Download & update the status of the AarogyaSetu app regularly
3) Sanitize your hands frequently
4) Strictly follow physical distancing.
5) Carry minimum bags with you
6) Use homemade food, carry your own water bottle. Do not share with anyone.
7) Avoid eating in a group.
8) If possible, use your personal vehicle for traveling.
9) If possible, avoid the use of public transport, but if you must, then strictly follow all safety norms.
10) If you are not feeling well, stay at home only. Don’t socialize.
After reaching Home: -
1) Sanitize your belongings before entering the house
2) Go straight to the washroom and take a bath
3) Wash your clothes
4) Take steam inhalation
5) Drink warm water/milk/AYUSH Kadha to maintain immunity
6) Eat fresh, homemade food
