Program Highlights:-
- Interventional Neuroradiology (INR) is a relatively new medical specialty that has been rapidly evolving over the past 2 decades. It uses interventional procedures, radiologic imaging & clinical expertise to diagnose & treat vascular diseases of the CNS, Head – Face – Neck & Spine in adults & children.
- It is an important & difficult specialty with strong & direct impact on patients with high risks connected to interventional procedures.
- Fellows will receive special training, experience & expertise, so as to independently interpret clinical & investigational findings, perform & conduct INR procedures, consult with patients & communicate with referring physicians.
- Objective of the training is to give the fellows an organized, comprehensive, supervised &full time education in INR with its wide panorama & scope.
- Opportunity will be given to conduct at least one original research study during the course duration.
- Oral/Poster presentation as part of course syllabus at a local/regional/ national/international meeting.
- Fellowship offers exposure and participation (Hands on) in selective intra & extracranial vessel cannulation with microcatheters.

MD / DNB Radiology
DM Neuroradiology / Neurology
DNB Neurosurgery / Neurology
Mch Neurosurgery
Diploma in medical radiodiagnosis – with 1-yeartraining post diploma.
Duration Of Course
2 years
(This will entail 1 year of preliminary & 12 continuous months of specialized INR training. Program director to certify the preliminary 1year training)
