Student life is Golden Life It is generally considered that ‘students life is a golden life’ because it is the most crucial part of the life of an individual.
Rights & duties of school student Student responsibility occurs when students take an active part in their learning by recognizing they are accountable for their academic success. It is demonstrated when they make choices & take actions that lead them towards their goal of education.
There are some roles & responsibilities of a student that should & need to be performed in school during school life.
Just as we, humans have rights & duties towards the society as well as our community, in the same way, students studying in school also have some rights & duties that are important to be followed.
1. Meeting Academic Expectations Developing a creative learning environment while displaying values of teamwork and unity are some of the values required to meet the academic expectations of students
2. Being Punctual & Respectful By being respectful, students contribute to a healthy learning environment and lessen distractions and disciplinary actions. They are also supposed to be punctual. Being late for school develops their bad image which thus has a negative impact on their grades as well. Thus, it is very important for them to maintain discipline in the classroom & understand time management.
3. Being in the best of behaviours School plays an important role in the process of socializing. That means an educational environment is required to ensure that the students gain access to quality education. In any case, to exist in such a condition, they are expected to comply with behavioural expectations and display values like politeness, kindness, compassion, generosity, sympathy, and respect.
4. Obey all the Faculties Students should behave respectfully & obediently with their teachers & other members.
5. Maintain discipline in the class as well as in school They must be well-disciplined not just in school, classrooms but also everywhere.
6. Keep the school neat and clean They should always maintain cleanliness with their books, classroom, school, home, and bedroom. They should
• Greet everyone with a smile & respect
• Be helpful & kind to others
They must be true, obedient, and loving towards their parents and elders. They should show love & affection towards primary students as well and treat all equally with patience & kindness.
7. Follow the rules & regulations of the school They should go to school on time and maintain proper punctuality attend classes on time regularly. They need to understand their moral responsibilities & behaviour towards school & other classmates.
8. Do the assigned work on time It is a well-known saying/ proverb,” Finish tomorrow’s tasks today,
And today’s tasks right now.
When would you finish them,
If the world were to end in the next moment.”
They should learn & complete the day’s task beforehand at home instead of leaving it for tomorrow.
9. Participate in various school activities organized They should be active members in various classroom & school activities conducted or organized from time to time. They should proficiently participate in different sports, cultural clubs, tours & picnics conducted by the school.
10. Co-operate with teachers & other students Students must be fair on the playground & support all their team members (other players). They should pay attention to what all is going on in class and should also listen to what the teacher is teaching.
Students play a significant role in managing their schools and classrooms. But, this is not enough for them. They are expected to leave their customary ranges as capable citizens and contribute towards the development of the society they are living in.
Students are the future of a nation. They should try to become the best citizens & human beings to respect their country as far as they can.
