Goals & Objectives

The main objectives of this cell are as follows:

• To aware the students of dehumanizing effect of ragging inherent in its perversity.
• To keep a continuous watch and vigil over ragging so as to prevent its occurrence and recurrence.
• Promptly and stringently deal with the incidents of ragging brought to our notice.
• To generate an atmosphere of discipline by sending a clear message that no act of ragging shall be tolerated and any act of ragging shall not go unnoticed and unpunished. As per the order of Supreme Court of India and subsequent Notification from University Grants Commission (UGC), ragging constitutes one or more of any intention by any student or group of students on:
  To develop basic quality framework and benchmarks for various academic and administrative activities of the School.
  To enhance the quality of teachers and administrative staff.
  Constant revision of quality parameters with changing needs of industry and society.
  To equip students with relevant knowledge, skills, attitudes and global competencies to make them more employable and capable of contributing to the growth of organizations, communities and the nation.
  To foster a culture of excellence by following quality management frameworks, following best practices and actively engaging and institutionalizing continuous quality improvement practices using feedback from various stakeholders.
  To coordinate and improve internal communication to facilitate greater policy implementation and quality assurance towards its stakeholders.
  To act as the Documentation and Record-Keeping cell.
