Vision

• The Cell is constituted to safeguard the interest of students without any prejudice to their caste, creed, religion, language, ethnicity, gender, disability and to eliminate discrimination or harassment against any student by providing preventive measures to facilitate punishment for those who indulge in any form of discrimination to promote equality among the students.

Mission

• To receive complaints from the affected students in terms of discrimination of caste, creed, religion, language, ethnicity, gender, disability and conduct a proper enquiry, and submit a detailed report to the undersigned for suitable action.

Goals & Objectives

The main objectives of this cell are as follows:

• To aware the students of dehumanizing effect of ragging inherent in its perversity.
• To keep a continuous watch and vigil over ragging so as to prevent its occurrence and recurrence.
• Promptly and stringently deal with the incidents of ragging brought to our notice.
• To generate an atmosphere of discipline by sending a clear message that no act of ragging shall be tolerated and any act of ragging shall not go unnoticed and unpunished. As per the order of Supreme Court of India and subsequent Notification from University Grants Commission (UGC), ragging constitutes one or more of any intention by any student or group of students on:
  The Coordinator will meet the concerned students and staff, to understand their problem. A meeting of the committee will be convened to discuss about action to be taken/ advice to be rendered/help to be given to resolve the matter. The Coordinator will communicate the decision to the concerned person.
