Department of Pediatric Dentistry is associated with Special Olympics Bharat

The Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, DY Patil School of Dentistry, Navi Mumbai is proud to be associated with ‘Special Olympics Bharat’s initiative- Return To Play’, launched under the ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, by the Government of India.  This is one of the biggest health initiatives for persons with intellectual disabilities.  On 7th of April which is *World Health Day 2022*, the staff and post graduate students of the department provided high-quality treatment to athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Special thanks to the Head of Department Dr. Shilpa Shetty Naik, Professor and other faculty members -Dr. Mansi Baviskar, Dr. Jasmin Winnier, Dr. Indu Varkey, Dr. Rucha Bhise, Dr. Kiran Ghule, Dr. Ashveeta Shetty, Dr. Sanjana Kodical, Dr. Rachna Sharma, Dr. Amil Joshi along with post graduate students & interns for their active involvement and making this event possible. 

Two post graduate students Dr. Ishani Ratnaparkhi and Dr. Shreya Khodke were the clinical coordinators on behalf of School of Dentistry who coordinated with the team of SOB
