Periodontal and Peri-Implant Tissue Management

DY Patil Deemed to be University, School of Dentistry hosted the internationally acclaimed Periodontist Dr. Stefan Fickl from Germany for the first lecture of Season 5 of Integriteeth- D Y Patil Continuing Dental Education Learning Series and Workshop. Dr. Stefan is currently an associate professor at the University of Wuerzburg Germany. He has completed his post graduate education in Periodontology & Implantology at the Institute of Periodontology & Implantology, Germany. He has numerous international publications & is on editorial team for various international dental journals.

The lecture was attended by students, staff and allumni from D Y Patil School of Dentistry & various other dental colleges. The title of the lecture is Periodontal & Peri – Implant Tissue Management. Dr Fickl during the course of the lecture discussed various novel surgical techniques of tissue grafting and management. The lecture was concluded by lively discussion amongst the participating delegates & Dr. Fickl.
