Integriteeth kick started the year with a highly inspiring lecture by none other than Dr. David P. Tauro (Cranio-facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon), President of The Association Of Oral And Maxillofacial Surgeons Of India.
He spoke about The Evolution And The Current Perspective Of Oral And Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Tauro showcased his brilliance in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery through the cases he had worked on over the years. He showed the treatment plans of Cranio-facial plastic and reconstructive surgeries he has performed, thus explaining the transition procedure.
The lecture was attended by the entire faculty and post-graduate students of Department of Oral And Maxillofacial Surgery, D Y Patil University, School Of Dentistry. Heads of Departments of other dental colleges were present too. There were also interns and staff from other colleges
In the end, there was a Question and Answer round, where many Interns and PG students had an opportunity to interact with Dr. Tauro and learn a lot from him.
