Dental camp on the occasion of Doctors Day
An oral screening, awareness, and treatment camp were conducted by the Department of Public Health Dentistry. The staff Dr. Sheiba Gomes, Dr. Siddharth Acharya, and interns: Abhishek Kokane, Parag Jain, and Vidhi Jain participated in the camp.
The objectives of the camp were to diagnose oral diseases and conduct awareness about oral hygiene practices. The camp was conducted at the School of Dentistry, DY Patil Deemed to be University, Navi Mumbai on 1st July 2021 between 08.30 am to 02.30 pm on the occasion of Doctor’s Day
Activities conducted in the event included Oral screening, Oral Health Education and Treatment
A total of 45 new patients were catered to during the camp
The diagnosis was done in the Department of Oral Medicine, Diagnosis, and Radiology with the help of staff, UG, PG students, and interns of the department.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Dean sir, Dr. Omkar Shetty for guiding us from inception to completion of the camp. Special mention to all the staff of the college for helping to make this treatment camp a success. Department would take this opportunity to thank the reception and the non-teaching staff for helping on the day of the camp.
The objectives of the camp have been fulfilled.
