Who are we - D.Y. Patil Deemed to be university School of Dentistry ,Navi Mumbai has a dedicated cell for International students to provide them academic and personal support. The cell creates a bridge between the students and Faculty, University Offices, Diplomatic Missions, State/ Central Government Departments, Police/ Intelligence and other legal agencies.

Our Beneficiaries - International  students  and scholars. 

What we do-
1.     The Cell maintains the data base of foreign students studying in the institution.
2.    Create a platform in which their issues can be heard and discussed.
3.     To create Opportunity to develop their leadership skills and other organizational skills 4.     Conducting orientation programs to familiarize enrolled students regarding the programs offered, fee structure, eligibility criteria, to admission formalities, hostel allocation, issue of Bonafide Certificates. legalities and policies of the University.
5.     Monitoring the academic performances of the students by coordinating with mentors and to communicate with guardians/parents regarding progress of the student at the end of a semester or once in every six months.
6.    Support and assistance for visas and related immigration process, if necessary.
7.   Conducting orientation and events to encourage social and cultural adjustment
8.     Counseling on social issues and special tutorials to facilitate understanding of local language Functional English training course for non-English medium foreign students after admission.
9.   ISC also mediates student exchange by arranging student exchange between several international universities, aids moral support and academic guidance for Indian students to facilitate their academic voyage. 
10.  Redresser of student grievances.
11.  Issue of all official letters and documents related to international students.
