The Board is constituted as per the provisions under Section 31 of the Maharashtra Universities Act, 1994. The examination Branch prepare and publish schedule of Examinations as per provisions made under Section 71 and strive to declare the results of various examinations within the time limit as laid down in Section 72. The board of examination and evaluation shall be the authority to deal with all matters relating to examination and evaluation. The board of examination and evaluation shall also oversee the conduct of examinations in the autonomous colleges, institution, university departments and university institution.
