B.Tech Biotechnology
To acquire knowledge on biological sciences, mathematics, chemical science and fundamental engineering appropriate to the discipline.
design and troubleshoot a personal, product and environmental safety, intellectual property and social responsibilities related to modern biotechnological research and development
To understand the knowledge in the norms and ethics in Biotechnology product/technique developed

B.Tech Bioinformatics and Data Science
On successful completion of this program, the students will be well trained professionals for the Industries, research labs, Companies, Information technology in Business, etc., to meet the well trained manpower requirements. The graduates will get hands on experience in various aspects acquiring skills for Sequencing techniques, Big data analysis, Data management, Research Analysts, and Over all Administration abilities of the Company/Institute.
They can develop methods for data analysis using programming language and its linguistic structures.
They can apply critical frameworks to analyze the Biological data from various databases and resources.
They will be familiar with the statistical, mathematical, artificial intelligent models to deal with complex biological problems and to solve them in a meaningful manner.
B.Tech Food Science and Technology
The students will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the principles, concepts and skills relevant to food science and technology, including types of food materials, regional food culture, manufacturing processes, and industrial applications of food science and technology
apply quantitative and qualitative laboratory research techniques and analytical skills of foods, food processing, and quality control in food science and technology
demonstrate inquiry and critical thinking, and ethical, social and international understanding in the context of food science and technology
communicate effectively, liaise and cooperate with others in a multidisciplinary setting and write professionally in the field of food science and technology
assess and effectively manage occupational health and safety issues related to food science and technology activities in the laboratory, and in environmental and industrial settings.
M.Sc Biotechnology
They will able to design, conduct experiments, analyze and interpret data for investigating problems in Biotechnology and allied fields.
The students will able to implement the biotechnological innovations for finding sustainable solutions to issues pertaining to environment, health sector, agriculture, etc.
The students will able to use bioprocess technologies for solving industry related problems.
The students can apply in-sillico approach for drug designing and other related issues.
M.Sc Bioinformatics

M.Sc Genetic Engineering
The students will gain knowledge to understand origins of cells and the generation of cell diversity, as well as the common features of cellular structure which can help them to get employability in medical and allied industries.
Students will become familiar with the tools and techniques of genetic engineering- DNA manipulation enzymes, genome and transcriptome analysis and manipulation tools, gene expression regulation, production and characterization of recombinant proteins.
Students can use their plant and animal tissue culture knowledge in drug development.
The students will achieve overall understanding of genes and genetic factors in response to various genetic disorder diseases. This program can also help them to clear NET and other JRF exam.
M.Sc Industrial Microbiology
Industrial microbiology deals with all aspects of microbiology which have an economic impact.
It deals with areas of microbiology involving fermentation, strain improvement, deterioration, disease, or waste disposal.
It is study of the large-scale and profit motivated production of microorganisms or their products for direct use, or as inputs in the manufacture of other goods.
In most instances, the economic criterion applies to a desire either to cause or to allow some specific type of commodity.
It also involves study of metabolic activity or preventing microbial growth. It also finds a role in sustainable maintenance of the environment by managing waste from industries and increasing productivity without using chemical fertilizers and pesticides.
M.Sc Food Science and Technology
Students will be able to define food science. Recognize it as multidisciplinary, integrating knowledge from various fields applied to the study of foods. Describe the main areas of specialty, as well as potential careers of food scientists.
Students will be able to apply quantitative and qualitative laboratory research techniques and analytical skills of foods, food processing, and quality control in food science and technology.
Students will develop skills and knowledge of food processing and preservation; chemical properties of food materials; food safety, packaging and labeling; and food product and process innovation.
Students will be able to be able to apply the principles of Food Science to control and assure the quality of food products.
Integrated M.Sc Biotechnology
