Duties and Responsibilities and Expectations of Alumni committee Members

1. Meeting Participation - Attend and participate in at least one of the two meetings held each year.
2. Activity Participation - All members must extend their full support in all activities of the committee.
3. Alumni Involvement - Assist the University and the Alumni Association in identifying, cultivating, and involving alumni in areas such as student recruitment, career networking, or more.
4. Program Activity Awareness - Be familiar with the programs and activities, organized, and coordinated by the Alumni committee.
6. Advice and Support - Serve in an advisory and advocacy capacity for the Alumni Association and provide active support of the Alumni Association activities.
7. Departmental Link - Serve as a communications link with your academic department to keep the department informed of Alumni Association activities and to encourage participation of faculty, staff, and departmental alumni in the Alumni Association.
