Title of event: Mega Free Health check up Camp
D.Y.Patil School of Ayurveda, Nerul, Navi Mumbai to celebrate Har Din Har Ghar Ayurveda, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav organised a Health Check Up camp in collaboration with Pragatee Foundation & Vimal foundation, Juinagar ( W). On Sunday 29 th January 2023,
Time – 9.30AM onwards.

Details of teacher participants: Dr. Mangala Wange . HOD, Swasthavritta was participated in the camp.
Details of student participants:
Dr. Anila Nair (Swashavritta P.G. Student) and
Interns – Dr.Vishwajeet Khairkar and Dr.Dhurvi Bgarati
Pharmacist Prajakta Kadam-Nirmal was participated in the camp.
Objective of event:
• General Health Checkup with specialty doctors of Ayurvedic MD Physician , General Physician
Orthopedic, Pediatrician, Ophthalmic and MBBS Eye check-up unit, Assessment of the simple clinical examination related to Ear, BP, ECG and Blood Sugar.
• Distribution of the free medicines and proper advice on chronic ailments.
• Organized Blood Donation Camp.
• Providing Health care service to the community.
• Diagnosing and treating patients from all age groups having various health issues.
Highlights of Medical Health camp –
As per the planning by Pragatee Foundation & Vimal foundation with collaboration with D.Y.Patil School of Ayurveda, Nerul the arrangements was done by 9.30am with the support of volunteers.
All The medical teams and several doctors from different departments and Ayurvedic doctor’s team were reached the camp place.
The event was inaugurated in the presence of the Chief Guest former Mayor of NaviMumbai ,Mr.Sanjay Naik, , and former Mayor of NaviMumbai ,Mr.Jayavant Sutar, with the foundation Directors, members,doctors, and invited Guests. Mr.Aaksha Dhasal from Vimal foundation welcomed all, addressing the gathering he said that aim of Mega Health camp. The camp was open for patients Followed by felicitation of dignitaries.
The Doctors examined the patients and prescribed them the required medicines, which the patients availed from the medicines counter free of cost.
The Ayurvedic doctor’s team examined the patients and Ayurvedic medicines were dispensed to patients according to the ailments. Advice regarding the changes to be done in their dietary and daily regimens was given. Patients needing IPD care were suggested to visit IPD at the D.Y.Patil Ayurvedic Hospital,Nerul, NaviMumbai.
Patients from all age groups having various health issues were diagnosed and treated.
The camp ended about 2:30 pm.
Mr.S.Rane , chairman of Pragatee Foundation was proposed vote of thanks in which each hospital’s doctors were presented with a memento.
Conclusion –
This camp brings health awareness in people and fosters them towards their health care.
The people who are not in the position to spend money on their medicines and check-up got benefits through this camp.
It was a great experience for all and one with satisfying opportunities to help others less fortunate.
The response and appreciation of the people was very encouraging this brings the satisfaction of fulfilment of our objective.
We would like to continue such type of health awareness camp in present as well as in future.
The camp was successful in providing treatment total more than 350 patients’ visited and benefitted. 65 patients were benefitted from the Ayurvedic medicines.
