An awareness lecture has been organized by IQAC about participation in Vigilant Navi Mumbaikar Campaign. This campaign is launched by the Navi Mumbai Police to make us aware about prevention of social media cyber-crimes, online banking frauds, chain snatching, crimes against children, women and senior citizens, drug addiction etc. This Vigilant Navi Mumbaikar campaign is social policing project of Navi Mumbai Police.
From Navi Mumbai Police two officials and one head constable were present -
Assistant police inspector Dr.Shri Vishal Mane, Assistant police inspector Shri Dattatrey Pawar, head constable Shri Deepak Gurav.
Inaugural session started by Dhanvantari Poojan and session was conducted by Dr.Shraddha Nayak . Guests were falicitated by IQAC committee. Welcome speech was delivered by Dean Maheshkumar Harit.
Awareness lecture was delivered by Dr.Shri Vishal Mane where he informed about Navi Mumbai police Commissionerate jurisdiction, their area, emergency contact numbers dial 112 and further he created awareness on the cyber-crimes and drew attention on undesired effects of social media and drug addiction.
The session ended with Vote of thanks. Overall, it was a very informative session and had teaching staff, non-teaching staff, students and interns as attendants.
