Research Output
Ayurveda is a science of life with a holistic approach to health and personalized medicine. It is one of the oldest medical systems, which comprises thousands of medical concepts and hypothesis. Various concepts and principles of treatments need to be verified by proof-of-concept studies. The faculty and students are encouraged to conduct interdisciplinary research collaborating with sister institutes under D. Y. Patil Deemed to be University, Nerul, Navi Mumbai.
Following things can be considered as research output:
1. Clinical Trials are carried out by the faculty in Ayurveda Hospital which validates the quality, efficacy and/or safety of the products of pharmaceutical company.
2. Post Graduate Students publish their research papers on various topics in addition to the P. G. dissertation / research work.
3. Ph. D. candidate publish at least two articles in peer reviewed journals indexed in SCOPUS/ PubMed / UGC – CARE/ Web of Science.
4. Faculty of Ayurveda carries different observational and interventional studies at school level and at departmental level. The articles based on their research work are published in peer reviewed journals indexed in SCOPUS/ PubMed / UGC – CARE/ Web of Science.
