Exam Manual
All the internal and university examinations are held according to the guidelines provided by the Central Council Of usn Medicines. A minimum of 50 % marks in each subject are required for passing. Students are allowed to sit for examinations only after 75 % attendance in the theory lecture and practical. BAMS course is of 4 ½ years along with 1 year of internship. In each Professional year, one first term end exam, one Prelim exam and one University exam is conducted by the university.
Internal assessment marks are calculated on the basis of term end exam and prelim exam performance (In theory and viva - voce) Passing with minimum 50% marks in theory and practical is mandatory for every student. These internal marks are 10 % of the subject total.

Assessment of theory papers and viva- voce / practical is conducted by the respective subject faculty for the internal exam. Internal and external examiners are appointed for the university exam.
