Guest Lecture on ‘Ayurveda industrial Manufacturing in compliance with GMP’ By Dr. Pradnya Arolkar
Department of Rasa-Shastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana of a D. Y. Patil Deemed to be University,
School of Ayurveda, Nerul, Navi Mumbai has successfully conducted a Guest Lecture on
‘‘Ayurveda industrial Manufacturing in compliance with GMP” on Thursday, 2 nd June 2022 at 2
pm onwards for all UG & PG Students, Consultants and Teaching staff at Virtual classroom,1 st
floor.
The program started as per schedule with Salutation to Lord Dhanvantari at 2pm, followed by a
Welcome Speech given by our departmental faculty Dr. Sayali Kondar (Assistant Prof. Dept. of
Rasashastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana). Initially All participants and dignitaries were welcomed.
After that Dr. Archana Gharote HOD, Dept. of Rasashastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana welcomed our
guest speaker & inaugurated the Guest lecture; Dr Ekta madam welcomed and introduced our
guest Dr. Pradnya Arolkar.
Later on, lecture started by Guest Speaker Dr. Pradnya Nitin Arolkar, Administrative Doctor &
Operational Head, Amrutveda Wellness & Anandi Pharmaceuticals. The Guest lecture conducted
at Virtual classroom, the prime focus of this Guest Lecture was to educate students and teachers
regarding the recent update on GMP rules and regulations in pharma-industry. She conducted a
very scientific, informative and enlightening Seminar. Session was interactive; lots of examples
were discussed with students which helped them to understand the concept well. She has thrown
light on the topic in a very different and unique way. She explained the detail of knowledge of
modern sophisticated drug making techniques and machineries in a very elaborative way which
will help all the UG and PG students to upgrade their knowledge in the same perspective. After
completion of innovative and valuable speech question and answer session was conducted. Gift
distribution was done by guest to more interactive student. At last Dr. Archana Gharote Professor
& H.O.D Department of Rasa-Shastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana, School of Ayurveda, proposed a
vote of thanks.
