Research Message:

Our Research Cell has been formed with the intention of undertaking systematic and ongoing research into the often neglected aspects of our built environment.

This activity encourages critical thinking and is seen as a valuable part of our teaching and learning culture.

The scope of research projects undertaken ranges from urban and rural planning, urban design and transportation, habitat and communities, building materials and technology, sustainability and environmental impact.

The outcome of research projects is in the form of published work, exhibitions, and prototype design and models. The research cell engages with all relevant stakeholders in the project like government and semi- government organizations and NGOs.

Students are encouraged to participate in the ongoing research projects giving them an early grounding in research methods as well as valuable field experience under the guidance of their mentors.
