About the Committee
The Planning and Monitoring Board is the principal Planning Body of the University and responsible for the monitoring of the development programmes of the University. The Vice Chancellor of the University is the Chairman of the Planning and Monitoring Board.
The planning and monitoring board has been constituted with the eminent scholars from the academic side and other fields. They meet twice in a year. It includes six or seven internal members and a few outside experts.
The Planning and Monitoring Board recommends the Executive Council and the Academic Council on any matter which it considers necessary for the fulfilment of the objectives of the Society.
The recommendations of the Planning and Monitoring Board are placed before the Executive council for consideration. Proposals relating to academic matters are processed through the Academic Council.
